MUMBAI: After trotting the globe with its Oscar glory for some time now, Slumdog Millionaire's and AR Rehman's creation 'Jai Ho' is now ready to wrestle in Indian politics.

Percept Picture Company, Congress's media campaigner for 2009 elections, has sent a notice to opposition party BJP stating that if BJP takes the liberty to use the song in its political campaigns, Congress will undertake legal proceedings against their action.

And this is simply because, the song belongs to Congress now. PPC has purchased the exclusive rights of this Oscar winning song from Super Cassettes Industries for a reported price of Rs 10 million to be used in various television campaigns and rallies promoting Congress during the election campaigns.
