MUMBAI: After filling its prime time slot with issue-based shows such as Balika Vadhu and Uttaran, Hindi general entertainment channel Colors is now ready to launch yet another woman-centric show, come 9 March.

Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari will be aired from Monday to Friday at 9.30 pm to depict the story of a family from Delhi's Chandni Chowk lanes who experience the birth of a daughter after 18 years.

Says Colors head - programming Ashvini Yardi, "To have such a show at prime time is the key to standing out of the clutter. We will continue to deliver a strong proposition of differentiation and distinctive content. It helps draw in the attention of the viewer. We are positive that Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari will touch millions of hearts across the country."
