NEW
DELHI: ESPN Star Sports will telecast select seven matches
of ICC Women’s World Cup Australia 2009 from 7 March,
2009.
The
tournament being the first to be staged, after the merger
of the International Women’s Cricket Council and the
ICC in 2005, will be played at six venues over 16 days and
will feature teams from Australia, England, India, New Zealand,
Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies.
The
commentators of the tournament include Wasim Akram, Alan Wilkins,
Danny Morrison and women’s cricket experts Debbie Hockley,
Melanie Jones and Belinda Clarke.
