MUMBAI: Cinemax multiplex chain in India has zeroed in on Microsoft Dynamics NAV enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The implementation will provide a centralized system for Cinemax and streamline their operations including finance, procurement, inventory management, budgeting and fixed assets.

The multiplex chain runs its ticketing operations using Vista Cinema software, an end-to end solution for cinema operators that generates Microsoft Excel based data sheets. Blue Star InfoTech's (implementation partner) integrated ERP platform based on Microsoft Dynamics product suite will integrate Navision with Vista.

Cinemax India VP (Accounts & Finance) Mayur Parekh said, "Blue Star Infotech has a track record in implementing integrated ERP platforms within the Media and Entertainment industry. This implementation is critical for achieving our ambitious growth plans in India and will provide us with a centralized platform to deliver accounting and financial efficiencies."
