Former America Online (AOL) CEO Jonathan Miller is set to take over as digital
head at Rupert Murdoch's News Corp.
According to media reports, Miller will supervise News Corp's digital strategy,
overseeing its online operations like MySpace and its investment in web video
site Hulu. In
his new role, Miller is expected to report directly to News Corp. chairman Rupert
Murdoch. Miller,
the former chairman and CEO of AOL, quit the company in 2006 to start an investment
firm Velocity Capital, in association with Ross Levinsohn. The firm specialises
in digital-media investments. Meanwhile,
News Corp's longtime COO and veteran operator Peter Chernin is stepping down later
