MUMBAI: Dish TV India CEO Vinay Agarwal has quit the organisation, leaving at a time when the Zee group's demerged DTH company has accumulated close to five million subscribers to stay as market leader.

Agarwal joined Dish TV in June 2008, after the exit of Arun Kapoor who joined Reliance ADAG's Big TV as head.

Kapoor has come back to Essel Group but is looking after Wire & Wireless India Ltd (WWIL), the cable company, and Zee Turner, the distribution company with Turner as a 26 per cent stake holder in the joint venture.

Dish TV will not look at a CEO immediately, said its MD and industry veteran Jawahar Goel.
