MUMBAI:
National Geographic Channel's second high definition service
for the UK, Nat Geo Wild HD, is ready to roll out exclusively
on Sky+HD on 1 April.
With
an 18-hour schedule, the new channel will include programmes
such as Blue Whale Odyssey and In the Womb. The
second season of Strange Days On Planet Earth will
also be a part of the channel's programming line up.
Nat
Geo Wild HD will be placed next to National Geographic HD,
which is available on channel 544.
The
others channels included in the National Geographic Channel
portfolio are National Geographic Channel HD, Nat Geo Wild,
Nat Geo Adventure and Nat Geo Music.
