MUMBAI:
Riding on the buzz that its popular standup comedy shows Laughter
Challenge (Star One) and Chote Miya (Colors) created
amongst audiences, Endemol India is now producing a new comedy
show for Zee TV.
Titled
Ladies Special, the show will see only woman participants
tickling their funny bone to make audiences laugh.
"The
basic concept of the show is to provide women a platform to
project their point of view. Audience has always seen women
cry on screen; this time they will see them make everyone
laugh," says Endemol India MD Deepak Dhar.
Ladies
Special will be a prime time show on Zee, targeted towards
the women audience.
"The
launch date and time slot for the show is, however, yet to
be decided," Dhar added.
