| MUMBAI:
There's many a slip between the cup and the lip. And in cricket a catch is not
a catch until it is caught cleanly. That has become clear now with IPL commissioner
Lalit Modi announcing to cricinfo.com that talks between Sony Entertainment and
BCCI have fallen through on IPL 2 rights. Apparently,
the two agreed on most commercial terms but fell apart when Modi balked on the
issue of making the contract non-terminable, Cricinfo.com quotes the IPL commissioner
as saying. So
is the IPL headed for a legal battle or a compromise formula can still be worked
out? Hopefully, we will know soon. Also
