| MUMBAI:
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has given the nod for the setting
up of a community radio station (CRS) in Nuh, Mewat, Haryana. The
permission has been given to Seeking Modern Application for Real Transformation
(SMART), a Delhi based NGO. As
per the terms of the agreement, the CRS is expected to be operational within three
months.
The
NGO will use the CRS as a medium in the development of rural and under privileged
urban communities particularly women. |
