MUMBAI:
Big 92.7 FM has roped in Nikhil Mehta and Vivek Mahajan as
regional sales director (West) and head- SME and new business
development, Maharashtra respectively.
Prior
to this, Mehta was with HSBC as vice president - payments
and cash management. Mahajan comes in from Gemalto where he
was sales manager.
Mehta
will report to national
sales head -Pankaj Chandra and will be responsible for overseeing
sales operations including new business development in key
markets for the western region.
Vivek
Mahajan will be responsible for bringing in advertisers to
Big 92.7 FM and help in creating new properties for clients.
Mahajan will report to Nikhil Mehta.
Speaking
about the new appointments, Chandra said, "The importance
of sales to a radio station need not be re-iterated and the
challenge and excitement that new business poses is highly
