MUMBAI: GlobeCast, a Hong Kong-based transmission service provider for broadcast
delivery, has announced the launch of its MCPC platform on the AsiaSat 3S satellite.
European
broadcaster Deutsche Welle is the transponder's first client.
DW-TV
ASIA+ is Deutsche Welle's second free-to-air Asian channel that broadcasts on
lifestyle, cultural, arts, business and political programmes.
The C-band platform on AsiaSat 3S covers entire Middle East to East Asia, Australia
and New Zealand.
