| MUMBAI:
The Indian Premier League is ready with yet one more schedule to rescue the high-profile
game which clashes with the general elections in India. After
much strenuous meets in Delhi on Saturday to save the tournament from the forced
delay, the IPL authorities said: "We are ready with a revised schedule."
The
IPL organisers walked into the cumbersome process of re-sketching the calendar
one more time after the Union Home Ministry rejected the schedule on 13 March. Meanwhile,
Karnataka state government refused to provide any security for the IPL matches
in Bangalore before 4 May. Chhattisgarh, on the other hand, has offered to host
the IPL matches. |
