MUMBAI: Bharti Airtel has launched “Magic Dekho, Talktime Pao” offer on its direct-to-home (DTH) service – Airtel Digital TV.

The offer is exclusively for Airtel prepaid mobile customers, wherein upon buying a Digital TV connection at Rs 2000 with three months of ‘Super Value Pack’, the customer receives 1,000 minutes of local Airtel–to-Airtel talktime.

Meanwhile, for South India, on buying Digital TV with five months of South Value Pack, a subscriber gets 750 minutes of local Airtel–to-Airtel talktime. The offer is valid till 30 June, 2009.

Bharti Airtel director and CEO-DTH Ajai Puri said, “Our offer of Magic Dekho Talktime Pao delivers on the promise we made at the time of the launch of our DTH service i.e. to bring the benefit of a one Airtel experience to our customers and offer them loyalty benefits of being an Airtel customer. This exclusive offer for our existing prepaid mobile customers also gives us an opportunity to increase our share of the customer’s wallet.”

The customer needs to call and register his new connection and share his Airtel number after buying the Digital TV to get the talktime credited to their mobile account within seven days of activation of digital TV connection.
