BSNL partners ROK Entertainment to launch mobile TV

MUMBAI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has partnered with ROK Entertainment group, the mobile technologies, applications and service provider based in UK, for the launch of Tiny TV in India.

Tiny TV is the nationwide, subscription-based, mobile TV service in India to be streamed over mass-market 2.5G GPRS.

 

Priced at Rs 150, Tiny TV offers a range of local and international live and on-demand mobile TV channels from news, sports, music and movies genre.

"India is a massive mobile market with a fast-growing appetite amongst consumers for mobile entertainment. We are delighted to be working with BSNL in the deployment of Tiny TV across India," said ROK Entertainment chairman and CEO Jonathan Kendrick.

 
 

The list of channels that Tiny TV includes are Sab, SET and PIX, News 24, E-24, ROK Bollywood, Geet, Green, Red, Gyan, Tiny Sports TV, Tiny Comedy, Mobifun and a movie channel.

The list even includes regional channels from states such as Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali.
