MUMBAI: ACK Media has partnered with iRemedi Corp, an Atlanta-based creative technology solutions company, to launch Amar chitra Katha on iPod and iPhones for the international market.

Amar Chitra Katha comics will be available on iRemedi's Ether Media, a media content delivery solution for the iPhone platform. The offering will be made available to the iPhone and iPods users through the Apple iTunes store.

The titles available are Krishna, Buddha, The Gita, Ashoka, Tales of Saibaba, Shakuntala, Panchantantra Tales, Mirabai, Karna and Bheeshma. The titles are available at $1.99.

ACK Media founder and CEO Samir Patil said, "We are very excited to launch Amar Chitra Katha on iPhone for the international audience. With this launch we have taken a step towards bringing the world of Indian storytelling to the iPhone community. In addition to comics we are looking at creating new applications and games for this platform."

As per the agreement, iRemedi will be the technology partner for the ACK Media's iPhone platform.
