MUMBAI: Reliance Communications (RCom) has partnered with Hyderabad-based Apalya Technologies to roll out 35 new live streaming channels for its GSM (global system for mobile) subscribers.

This is in addition to the 13 channels offered to the CDMA (code division multiple access) subscribers.

RCom will be using Apalya's Mimobi technology platform to provide its mobile TV services on its GSM network. The services will be branded as MimobiTV.

Apalya is also into tie-up with BSNL for similar offerings and the services are offered as part of BSNL’s 3G services bouquet.
