MUMBAI: BAG Films & Media Ltd. will make available two of its channels, News 24 and E24, on 3G mobile technology. This is the first time that television channels will be on 3G mobile.

The service will first be available to all BSNL subscribers and then move on to other networks.

Says BAG Films & Media CMD Anurradha Prasad said, “We at BAG believe in keeping with revolutionising technology and rising expectations. Becoming the first to go on 3G is in keeping with our beliefs and commitment to change with times and technologies.”

Launched in December 2007, News 24 is a Hindi general news channel. E24, on the other hand, was launched in March 2008 as the first Bollywood news channel of the country.
