MUMBAI: Whistling Woods International (WWI) is now entering into the television and broadcast industry with a new one-year specialised course - TVBS (Diploma in Television and Broadcast Studies).

WWI is a film, animation and media arts institute promoted by Bollywood filmmaker Subhash Ghai.

The institute claims that TVBS, endorsed by the television industry, is in-sync with the current trends and requirements combined with practical training. The curriculum for this course has been designed by the industry professionals especially for the industry.

Skilled guidance, expert training, industry internships are part of this course which will ensure students understand the structure and working of all departments in a channel and a production house.

WWI president Meghna Ghai Puri said, "The biggest gap in the television and broadcast industry is the need for a course which goes beyond theory and is based on live situations and market realities. Further, there are many modules within our curriculum, which are unique to WWI TVBS."
