MUMBAI: Network 18 has roped in Hatim Kantawalla as group technology editor.

Prior to this, Kantawalla was associate publisher of PC Magazine and was responsible for the business unit's P&L in Dubai, UAE.

In his new capacity, Kantawalla will be in-charge of the editorial operations of Network18's tech media brands - Chip (a monthly magazine licensed from Hubert Burda, Germany and published by Infomedia18), T3 (a monthly magazine licensed from Future Publishing, UK and published by Infomedia18), tech2.com and biztech2.com.

Commenting on the appointment, TV18 business media president & group editorial director Senthil Chengalvarayan said, "As content generators, technology is a key focus area for us and we need only the best to lead us in it. Consequently, we're happy to welcome Hatim into the network who has a wealth of experience and the right pedigree to take our technology content to take the next level."
