MUMBAI: Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) has partnered with Israel-based ECI Telecom, the global provider of networking infrastructure, to offer fixed broadband services across India.

As part of the agreement, TTSL will deploy an all-IP next-generation network featuring ECI's Hi Focus multi-service access node (MSAN) and SR9000 carrier ethernet switch router (CESR) platforms.

"ECI's expertise and understanding of broadband access solutions were key factors to choose ECI for this project. The company's market leading solutions allow us to deliver a full spectrum of next-generation services," says TTSL president and CTO A G Rao.

The broadband solution for TTSL's Photon Pro network has already been deployed across eight cities such as Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, Surat and Baroda.
