| MUMBAI:
The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has given the nod for setting up, maintaining
and operating a community radio station (CRS) at Konark, Orissa.
The
CRS is expected to be operational within three months, as per the agreement.
The CRS is
aimed to help people in villages around Konark learn about water harvesting, safe
water storage, water purification and also provide herbal health facilities to
the villagers.
With
this, the number of CRS will increase to 52 in the country. |
