Rive Gauche Television has acquired the international distribution rights for
Operation Repo. A
reality series, Operation Repo takes audiences into the adrenaline-charged
world of repossession.
Produced
by Tariq Jalil and Francisco Aguilar, Operation Repo began as a Spanish
language series airing on Telemundo. Witnessing its success, TruTV tested the
concept with its English-speaking audience by airing a series of re-purposed and
sub-titled specials. The
specials performed so well that TruTV quickly ordered 26 episodes to be produced
in English with a higher budget. Rive
Gauche Television president David Auerbach says, “Operation Repo has
a proven track record of success in delivering audiences in both Spanish and English
speaking territories. We are confident that this series with all of its unique
elements will continue to attract audiences for broadcasters throughout the international
