MUMBAI: Mauj Mobile, the mobile media solutions provider, has launched two new games designed on the Indian epic Mahabharata.

Formatted in 2D and 3D set-ups, the games centre around two characters – Abhimanyu and Bheeshma.

Said Mauj Mobile CEO Manoj Dawane, “Infusing Indian mythology with mobile technology, we have packaged two very interesting games around the greatest epic in the Indian culture. We identified the growing interest around mythological based content and took up the responsibility to create and offer exciting content based on Indian legend.”

The first game is based on Pandava Arjun’s 16-year-old son Abhimanyu. Playing as the young but vigorous warrior, the player has to face the greatest challenge of the war – The Chakravyuh. The youth knew the path to break the planned Chakravyuh but did not know the way out.

The second game Bheeshma is based on the combatant Devevrath. Fighting against his own nephews, the character is torn between the loyalty towards his kingdom of Hastinapur and affection for the Pandavas. With a promise to vanquish the enemy’s army without hurting his nephews, the game revolves around slaying the Pandava army.
