Discovery's new initiative to focus on experiments

MUMBAI: Infotainment channel Discovery is set to present Discovery Project Earth under its one hour time band - Ultimate Discovery.

Discovery Project Earth will be aired everyday at 9 pm.

Project Earth presents scientists who are working on eight different experiments to save the planet from the hazardous effects of global warming.

Working with the scientists on these innovative experiments is the Discovery Project Earth task force. Jennifer Languell is an eco-house-building engineer. Basil Singeris a quantum physicist. Then there is venture capitalist, Kevin O'Leary.

Discovery director - marketing and communications Rajiv Bakshi says, “Discovery Project Earth presents geo- engineering initiatives that will tackle the ever debated problem of climate change. Project Earth attempts to surpass all physical and technological barriers to find a concrete solution to save the planet. The series brings forth the cumulative efforts of various scientists and their path breaking experiments that will shape a better future for us.”

The show uses jeopardy-filled actuality, stunts and tests, visuals and CGI to bring the ambitious visions to life.
