| MUMBAI:
Zee TV USA will be sponsoring a panel discussion at the national association of
television program executives (NATPE) on 29 January. The
panel, titled India: A Booming TV Market, will discuss the growth
and breadth of Indian content and its growing audience. The panel will be moderated
by Fox Television Studios president Emiliano Calemzuk. Calemzuk
said, I am delighted to be moderating a panel that explores Indian content
and raises its profile for the first time at NATPE. As Fox TV Studios looked at
the changing television landscape and the escalating costs of production, we made
a conscious shift in our business model, integrating international co-productions
that have allowed us to produce dynamic programming for a global marketplace,
including a vibrant local studio in India servicing its local broadcasters. Zee
TV USA territory head of Americas Subroto Bhatacharya added, NATPE is known
to be the American program market serving the worldwide television community and
a forum where the participation of the Indian content is significantly low. This
year Zee has taken an initiative to not only endorse the Indian content in this
forum but also given it a voice by setting up a panel to discuss India
A Booming TV Market. |
