MUMBAI: DirecTV will provide eight different high-definition angles of President-elect
Barack Obama's inauguration on one screen.
The
inauguration, which was held today, will
be displayed on DirecTV's Mix Channel.
The
interactive Mix Channel, which DirecTV uses for news and sports channels, allows
the viewer to watch eight different channels on one screen. Therefore, by clicking
on one screen, the viewer can tune directly to that channel.
According
to DirectTV, the Mix Channel will also be
available in standard-def and the satcaster
will run a 'blog ticker' at the bottom of
the screen that offers related news facts.
