MUMBAI: The Walt Disney Company has filed a proxy statement saying that it's CEO Robert Iger has received $2 million salary and a $13.9 million bonus for fiscal ended September 2008.

Iger got an overall compensation of $30.6 million, up by 11 per cent from year-ago period. His total compensation valued around $27.7 million in the previous year.

However, Iger's base salary has remained unchanged since he was hired as CEO in 2005.

Meanwhile, Disney’s net income fell 5.5 per cent as the economic slowdown cut profit at theme parks and the film studio produced fewer movies.
