AXN brings monster movies for viewers

MUMBAI: AXN, the adventure reality and extreme action channel, is ready with its lineup of creature movies, after a stint with horror flicks. The channel has lined up creepy movies every Saturday night at 8 pm under slot ‘Creature Features.’ The channel will be showing Jurassic Park III, Godzilla and Tremors.

On 17 January, AXN will air Jurassic Park III. The third film in the Jurassic Park series, it is a sequel to The Lost World: Jurassic Park. It takes place on Isla Sorna, the island from the second film, after a couple hires Alan Grant to help them find their son.

On 24 January, it will air Godzilla. Starring Matthew Broderick, Godzilla is about the fictional Japanese monster from the Godzilla series of science fiction films that was first seen in 1954. Godzilla has appeared in 28 films till date.

On 31 January, Tremors will be aired on the channel. Starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward, it is 1990’s dark comedy monster film about a group of people from a small Nevada town fighting subterranean worm-creatures dubbed ‘Graboids’.
