MUMBAI: Disney Channel's John Hardie, who until now was executive VP and managing director of Disney channels Europe, Middle East and Africa, has now been tapped to head Jetix Europe as the chief executive officer.

Hardie will replace Paul Taylor with immediate effect and will continue to retain his present post as executive VP and managing director.
