MUMBAI:
Star Pravah is adding three new shows to beef up its programming
lineup. The new shows span from comedy to drama and reality.
The
channel has roped in Endemol India (Neena Rout), Rakesh Sarang's
Camsclub and shrirang Godbole's India Magic for producing
the shows.
Godbole's
Daar Ughda Na gade will hit the screens on 23 February
and will be aired every Monday-Wednesday at 10.30 pm. With
this comedy show, the channel is expanding its primetime till
11 pm. Based on a henpecked husband and nagging wife, every
episode will have comic twists and a new story.
In
the Thursday-Friday 10 pm band, Star Pravah will air matrimonial
reality show Jodi Jamli (Endemol India), starting from
5 March. The channel will air Char Chaughi, from 9
April. in the Monday to Saturday 7.30 pm band.
Star
Pravah's programming head Atul Ketkar says, "While launching
the channel, we had planned a three-phase programming roll
out. Our third phase lineup will kick off in the next quarter."
"At
present we are having 60 per cent original content as compared
to our competitors. With the launch of these three shows,
we will reach to 80 per cent," Ketkar adds.
