Excel brings ‘Sleeping Beauty’ on home video

MUMBAI: Excel Home Videos is set to release the 50th anniversary edition of Walt Disney’s classic fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty, on DVD and VCD.

The bonus features in the package include: ‘never-before-seen expanded version of the film’, ‘never-before-seen alternate opening’, along with ‘all-new games and activities’.

Sleeping Beauty has George Brun's orchestral score, which was nominated for an Academy Award, blended with famous themes from 1890 Sleeping Beauty ballet by Tchaikovsky.

The fairy tale is the 16th animated feature from the Walt Disney Studios, adapted from the story with the same name by Charles Perrault.
