MUMBAI: Riding on the ratings success and buzz generated by its new reality show Aap Ki Kachehri, market leader Star Plus is also preparing to take the Kiran Bedi drama beyond the television space from 7 February onwards.

The channel will replicate the concept of 'Lok Adalat' as a ground event with the title Aap Ki Kachehri Aap Ke Shaher Mein in a bid to take the show closer to people on the streets.

The first phase of the initiative will be held live at Ambedkar Maidan in Mumbai on 7 February.

Apni Adalat, the first of the Aap Ki Kachehri Aap Ke Shaher Mein series, will be attended by prominent panelists such as Sachin Ahir (MLA), Pooja Oberoi (NGO - Khushiyan Seva Sanstha), Vilas Marathe (ACP, Worli Area Zone), Jayashree Akolkar (advocate, Mumbai High Court) and Siddharth Basu (producer, Big Synergy).
