MUMBAI:
Reasonable Advertising, which is organising the on-going Rin
T-10 Gully Cricket event, has decided that the final leg of
matches will be held in Surat.
The super league quarterfinal matches are set to happen on 12 and 13 February.
The semis and final will be held on 15 February followed by a concert at Surat
District Cricket Association (SDCA). DD Sports will air the action.
The
tournament is being played in seven centers pan India
Lucknow , Kanpur , Jalandhar, Ludhiana , Surat , Thane, Nashik
and Pune. One team has been selected. The names of these teams
are Lucknow Gullies, Kanpur Gullies, Jalandhar Gullies, Ludhiana
Gullies, Surat Gullies, Thane Gullies, Nashik Gullies and
Pune Gullies.
Rin
T-10 Gully Cricket Tournament director Anoop Wadhwa said,
Gully Cricket is one of the fastest cricketing formats
that will enable the young aspiring cricketers to showcase
their talents and perform at a national level. I am sure that
cricket is in for a major alteration with the faster formats
leading the pack. T-10 is the format of the future."
Another
feature of T-10 Gully Cricket are the cheer girls encouraging
the young cricketers. Also adding prominence to the show are
former Indian team manager Lalchand Rajput and sports commentator
Charu Sharma with ball-by-ball analysis.
