MUMBAI:
Production company Eternal Dreams Entertainment Ltd has roped
in Shruti Anindita Varma as chief operating officer.
Prior
to this, Varma was Applause Entertainemnt head - non fiction
and events. In her new capacity, Varma will head the films,
TV and events division of the company.
Eternal
Dreams MD Sapna Chaturvedi says, "Having had spearheaded
shows in different genres for multiple broadcasters and with
many successful shows to her credit, Varma brings with her
a rich and fruitful experience in television programming in
India and abroad. She is sure to add to the talent pool at
Eternal Dreams and create break through concepts for broadcasters
which I am sure will take us on a different pedestal."
Eternal
Dreams has produced shows like Ye Hai Jalwa and Dhamaal
Express on 9X and other televised events for satellite
channels.
Varma's
professional career spans for 14 years wherein she has worked
with various production houses as director, creative director,
supervising producer, writer and creative producer.
Varma
adds, "I am excited because for me, every job is a new
and fresh experience and every production house a place full
of talent. I just need to give them the right direction and
the freedom. Right now I am in the process of setting up my
creative as well as production team.”
