MUMBAI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL)
has launched its wireless broadband' service
in Gujarat.
The
state-owned telecom major has roped in Soma
Networks, which has invested in the network
rollout and will manage the service on behalf
of BSNL. FlexMAX System is used to wirelessly
deliver broadband to the subscribers through
a plug-and-play indoor device, allowing
seamless upgrades to future services.
"BSNL's
service is not just for the urban elites,
but will connect India's underserved population
with the same high-quality broadband experience,
but without the wait and the wires,"
said BSNL Gujarat Telecom Circle Chief GM,
Satya Pal.
