MUMBAI: WASP3D, the workflow based real-time 3D broadcast graphics solution, has announced the launch of new version WASPi Mimosa at BES Expo in New Delhi today.

The release is one of the first touch-gesture based interactive broadcast presentation tool. WASPi Mimosa allows the user to present the content on a touch screen panel.

Mimosa offers the presenter host of interactive features including telestration tools (for drawing arrows, highlighters, ellipses etc.), touch-gesture based actions (including zoom, pan, rotate), menu and other tools for building complex interactive scenes.

Key highlight of the version is its UBT feature that enables virtually zero coding environment for creating basic data entry UI, thus speeding up the entire workflow.

Beehive Systems director Tushar Kothari said, “With the release of WASP3D 2009, we have given a new direction to television broadcast presentation. I am confident that adding interactivity will largely help the television stations to make their content much more engaging and stickier.”

Meanwhile, the company has recently launched a new website with the release of WASP3D 2009.
