MUMBAI: To accommodate the growing business and changing workflows, Warner Bros. Post Production Services (WBPPS) in the US has completed the construction on two new facilities, ADR 2 and Re-Recording Stage 12.

The announcement was made by Warner Bros. Studio Facilities senior VP - post production services - Kim Waugh.

ADR 2 will be used primarily for automated dialogue replacement on television projects, while Stage 12 will service the feature film community.

Waugh says, "ADR 2 and Stage 12 not only increase the options our clients have when working with our team of post production sound talent, but also enable us to accommodate and respond to changing workflows and schedules in our industry."

Stage 12 features a hybrid of traditional motion picture technology and workstation mixing. AMS Neve DFC and Digidesign ICON control surfaces co-exist for maximum flexibility in re-recording. The Stage also features a console frame design, which allows the mixing desk to be reconfigured and the console control surfaces to be rearranged to accommodate unique needs or mixing preferences.

With the completion of ADR 2 and Stage 12, the Studio's sound campus now features five large-format feature re-recording stages, six television re-recording stages, a restoration re-recording stage, the Eastwood Scoring Stage, a Foley stage, eight screening rooms supporting both Dolby and RealD 3D, four ADR stages and three audio restoration suites supported by over 300 sound and picture editorial suites.
