MUMBAI: Radio One vice president programming Vehrnon Ibrahim has put in his papers and will be serving his notice period till 31 December.

Ibrahim is tipped to join Radio Today Broadcasting's Meow FM as national programming head, sources said.

Ibrahim did not want to comment on where he is headed but confirmed that he was quitting Radio One. “After being with Radio One for a little less than two years, I am now looking out for newer challenges. I can't comment on where I am joining until any formal announcement is made. I will join the new company on 1 January 2010,” he said.

Radio One is currently not looking at filling up Ibrahim’s position. For the time being, the programming heads of each city will be reporting to Radio One MD Vineet Singh Hukmani.

Ibrahim had joined Radio One in March 2008.
