Reliance Media World, part of the Reliance ADA Group, will list on the bourses
on Friday and is expecting to break-even at the operating level by March 2010. The
company, which operates 45 FM radio stations, expects to turn profitable in FY'11.

had earlier reported that Reliance Media World posted a first-quarter net loss
of Rs 270 million on a consolidated gross revenue of Rs 460 million. The operating
loss was at Rs 110 million. For FY'09, the net loss stood at Rs 980 million on
a turnover of Rs 2 billion. Reliance
Media World said Thursday the promoter groups shareholding is at 61.47 per
cent. The
company, which runs the radio business under the Big FM brand and has outdoor
advertising activities, was de-merged from Reliance Media Works (formerly called
Adlabs). Shareholders of Reliance Media World were issued one share for each held
in Reliance Media Works. The
OOH business is carried out under the Big Street brand while Big Digital is an
initiative in the digital space. Big Reach is the activation division, providing
brand solutions basis client briefs, while Big events organises B2B events for
corporates. Big Live is in the business of audience aggregation through organising
live entertainment events and Big Rural offers holistic solutions for clients
marketing requirements. Says Reliance Media World CEO Tarun Katial, Reliance
Media World takes forward the Reliance ADAGs establishment in the media
space.
