| MUMBAI:
US-based Spanish-language movie channel Cinelatino has partnered with the Mexican
production company Argos for a number of original TV films. "Argos
has a track record for producing high-quality feature films and television products
and we are confident that these films will deliver the great quality and entertainment
value that characterise our channel," said Cinelatino president McNamara.
The
partnership kicks off with two urban thrillers which star Marco Trevino (Capadocia,
Malos habitos), Elizabeth Cervantes (Fuera del cielo) and Julio Bekhor
(Sea of Dreams) among others. "Cinelatino has the largest
selection of Spanish-language movies available to the US market and we will continue
to acquire the biggest and best feature films from the top movie distributors,"
McNamara added. "Our
original productions will complement our extensive library of critically-acclaimed
and box-office hits to ensure we continue to offer our consumers the most diverse
and relevant material they have come to expect from the leading Spanish-language
movie channel." |
