MUMBAI:
Discovery Networks has appointed David Rey as Discovery Networks
Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) chief operating officer,
a newly created position in the organization.
He
will be reporting to Discovery Networks EMEA EVP and MD Arthur
Bastings.
In his new role, Rey will be responsible for managing and
developing EMEA's business portfolio.
Prior
to this, Rey held the post of director business development
at BSkyB.
Discovery
Networks EMEA consists of 13 brands including Animal Planet,
Discovery Science and Discovery HD.
