| MUMBAI:
US media conglomerate News Corp has promoted Linda Johns to executive vice president
- human resources for the Fox Entertainment Group.
In
his new capacity, Johns will lead and direct human resource efforts across all
Fox Entertainment Group companies including Fox Filmed Entertainment, Fox Networks
Group, MySpace, Fox Mobile, Fox Audience Network, Photobucket and IGN. Johns
will also oversee human resources services spanning information services, administration,
compensation, recruitment and talent management. Says
News Corp chief human resources officer Beryl Cook, “Linda brings a wealth
of knowledge to this newly created role, having effectively served Twentieth Century
Fox for more than a decade. We look forward to expanding Linda’s valuable
expertise across an even greater landscape, and have no doubt she will make important
contributions to our Human Resources teams at Fox Entertainment.”
Johns joined Fox Entertainment Group in 1998 and most recently served as executive
VP - human resources at Twentieth Century Fox, where she ran all human resources
