MUMBAI: Virgin Media Television has signed a four-year deal that will allow UK's gaming firm NetPlay TV to take over the production business of Virgin Media's website and television channel.

Virgin Media also has the options to buy 9.9 per cent share in NetPlay TV.

NetPlay TV is available on Virgin Media and Sky 24/7. It also has a three-hour window on Bravo 2 and Virgin1.

"The deal enables us to offer gaming services to a new set of consumers and broaden its demographic reach," says NetPlay TV CEO and executive chairman Martin Higginson.

The gaming company is also of a view to acquire the business of Two Way Gaming, the provider of the Challenge Jackpot gaming service for $2.95 million that will facilitate NetPlay's monthly gross to over $66.28 million.

Challenge Jackpot is a serious gaming channel with an estimated 16,000 registered players.
