MUMBAI: Internet giant Google has won an IPR case against Kolkata-based Ascio Technologies and Rajasthan-based Net Jobs.

Google had lodged a complaint with the UN agency World Intellectual Property Right Organisation (WIPO), against Sudam Chakraborty and Thilak Raj, owners of the two companies, for using its trademark name for business purposes.

In its petition, Google said that the two companies were deferring intellectual property rights (IPR). Ascio Technologies was using the name 'googlehrd.com' while Net Jobs was using 'mygooglemoney.com'.

PTI reported that Christian Schalk, the only panelist in the case, had declared that the names were used to confuse internet users and in bad faith. Both the titles have been transferred back to Google.
