BBC World News to air 'Peschardt’s People' new series from 11 April

NEW DELHI: BBC World News is set to telecast a new series of Peschardt’s People from 11 April onwards.

The series will be aired on Fridays at 2 pm and 8 pm and on Saturdays at 2 am and 4 am.

The new series, which will last for 26 weeks, has been filmed worldwide including India, Middle East, Korea, Japan, the UK, New Zealand, Thailand and Singapore.

In the first part of the new series, host Michael will interview Dr Chris O’Brien, former head of the Sydney Cancer Centre, whose life changed dramatically since the discovery of a cancerous tumour in his brain.
