| MUMBAI:
Disney-ABC-ESPN Television has appointed Juan Mayne as VP programme distribution
Iberia. He will be reporting to SVP program distribution South EMEA Francesca
Tauriello.
Mayne will be replacing David Nogueira who will remain in office until 30 June.
In
his new role, Mayne will head the Iberian Programme Distribution team and will
be responsible to drive sales growth and revenue across Spain and Portugal. He
will cover media platforms including free to air, terrestrial, pay-per-view, cable/satellite
and all technologies such as VOD, broadband and mobile. "Juan's
experience and in-depth knowledge of both traditional and new media platforms
will be a tremendous asset to our integrated distribution business. I am delighted
to welcome him on board and look forward to working together with him to reinforce
and grow our presence in the region," said Tauriello. Prior
to this, Mayne was with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution as
VP sales (Southern Europe).
Juan
Mayne said, "The way in which we consume television content
is constantly evolving. I look forward to working with Francesca
and the team to reinforce DAET's position as a preferred content
provider and partner in the Iberian Market as well as providing
the best possible services to all our clients."
