US broadcaster Discovery has announced a raft of international
program sales and home video agreements for the series Deadliest
Catch and Man Vs. Wild.
Deadliest
Catch follows the brave men who do one of the deadliest
jobs in the world - crab fishing in the Bering Sea. Deadliest
Catch is produced for Discovery Channel by Original Productions.
Man Vs. Wild is produced for Discovery Channel by Diverse
Productions.
In
addition to airing on Discovery Channel in 357 million homes
and 170 countries around the world, Deadliest Catch
also airs in the following markets via programme sales agreements
with international broadcasters: Greece on SKAI; Australia
on Network Ten; in Canada via Astral Media; in Denmark, Norway
and Sweden via Viasat Broadcasting; in Ireland on TV3; in
Finland on Sanoma Television; in Switzerland via 3+ TV Group
