NEW DELHI: Tata Sky has lined up a host of interactive services during the summer season to grow its subscriber base.

Named as ‘Special summer bonanza’, these interactive services are targeted towards kids, women and IPL fans.

Says Tata Sky chief marketing officer Vikram Mehra, “With the summer holidays just around the corner, parents are looking for activities that could keep their children occupied in a more fun and learning way. We at Tata Sky have always strived to provide the best family entertainment and are thrilled to offer our subscribers a host of activities to choose from this summer, making it an unforgettable holiday experience.”

For kids, the DTH operator's 'Actve Stories' will offer historical and mythological stories like the Ramayan, the Mahabharat and folk tales from the Panchatantra in interactive format. 'Actve Wizkids' will have workshops on art, craft and rhyme, while its pay per view (PPV) service, 'Showcase' will air animated movie Jumbo.

Moreover, the DTH operator has launched contests like Little Authors and Little Painters where budding writers and artists will be given a platform to showcase their creativity and talent.

Additionally, children can watch music videos, trivia footage and backstage footage of Hannah Montana tour at the press of the red button on Disney channels. Also children can participate in the Tata Sky Hannah Montana Pop Star Dreams contest and win merchandise.

Furthermore for women, the DTH operator on its interactive service 'Actve Cooking' will show celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor dishing out secrets of recipes.

And for IPL fans and cricket lovers, Tata Sky has launched a host of interactive games, trivia and contests on 'Actve Games'.

Meanwhile, the DTH operator has already announced the premiere of latest Bollywood and Hollywood titles such as Dark Knight, Aa Dekhen Zara and Hello on Showcase.
