MUMBAI: Channel NewsAsia has partnered with China Multimedia Networks to present a series on reality business named as Sun-Tzu: War on Business.

Produced by Singaporean television producer Right Angle, Sun-Tzu: War on Business is a 13-part series that would air on Channel NewsAsia. Making its debut in January 2010 and distributed by BBC worldwide, the series would be supported by Media Development Authority of Singapore.

The series will showcase companies that have gone under Sun-Tzu treatment and will depict stories from business capitals in the Asia Pacific region such as Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, Singapore and Sydney.

"This programme will provide insights into business methodologies to turn companies around, based on the centuries- old principles of Sun Tzu's famous 'Art of War'. The programme will be Channel NewsAsia's first pan-Asian co-production with international partners distributing the product. It will have a refreshing format and we are sure viewers will find it engaging and entertaining," says Channel NewsAsia MD Debra Soon.

"I am glad to work with both Channel NewsAsia and Right Angle on this project. The idea of applying Sun Tzu's war strategy to modern business operation is valuable especially during the current worldwide economic crisis. I believe that this series will help this ancient wisdom from Asia to be shared by the world," adds China Multimedia Network COO Tao Libao.
